We went for a hike around Rattlesnake lake again. In the past few months, the lake has risen and most of the stumps and shoreline are now underwater. But there were a few stumps still poking their heads out. I took a long exposure to smooth out the water. I'm really happy with how the water turned out; the blue looks great!
The sun came out! It was so exciting! I'd almost forgotten was it was like to have a nice pre-sunset glow illuminating stuff.
Anyway, I went up to Rattlesnake Lake for fun. Turns out, there are stumps all over the place in the lake, and it used to be a town before it got flooded. It was partially iced over, which was a lot of fun as well.
This was my favorite photo, but I also got a cool landscape as well. Bonus photo below.
I normally stick with urban landscapes, but today I stopped by Greenlake in Seattle at around sunset. We'd just had a week of rain and the sun had come out. Everything had a beautiful glow to it. There were people everywhere. People running, jogging, walking, strolling, talking on their cellphones, rowing boats, all kinds of things. It was really nice. I can see why people want to live in this neighborhood.
